Kadugu Kuzhambu

White pumpkin – 100 gm
Yellow Pumpkin – 100 gm
Broad beans(Avarkkai) – 100 gm
violet small Brinjal – 100 gm
Cluster beans – 100 gm
Drumstick – 2 pieces

Tamarind paste – 1 tbsp
Tumeric – 1/2 tbsp

Salt to taste

Mustard seeds – 1/2 tbsp
Thuvardhal – 1 1/2 tbsp
Coriander seeds – 2 tbsp
Dry Red chilli or small dry red chilli – 4
Hing – pinch
Oil – 4 tbsp

Curry leaves – one stick

Heat water in a big vessel. Add white pumpkin,
yellow pumpkin, cluster beans, Avarkkai, drumstic
with tumeric and boil it for few minutes.

Add brinjal, tamarind paste and salt to taste.

Heat another vessel and dry fry mustard seeds, thuvardal,
coriander seeds, red chilli till color changes and
good smell comes. Dry grind it into powder form.

When vegetables are almost cooked, heat oil in
another vessel, fry grinded powder till oil gets
coated well and pour it to the vegetable mixture
immediately. Decorate it with curry leaves. Boil
for two to three minutes and serve hot.
